I must not have done this in forever, but I just did a major flist cut. If you were cut, I feel like we don't chat (as in, not for a long while) or never really have. If you feel I am wrong, leave a comment. Otherwise, yay! Feel accomplished. Now... make a large post or not.... *shrug* We'll see. Got the rest of my snow day to figure it out.

With so much hate in the world, this is what your heart tells you to do?
Thanks to 107 in fandom secrets, I got to see this video:

It was amazing, I cried a little at how beautifully he put it. I love that he's a straight man with no family members that he can think of that are gay, and he speaks so vehemently in support of gay marriage.

And how awful is it that they are preparing to try and get all the marriages that have taken place annulled? Oh wow. I am so sad right now. I can't even imagine.

Haven't taken shower yet... decided to clean out (and not actually clean, but clear out) parent's refrigerator. They are so bad at this. I find disgusting crap in there. It is always better to do this when they are out of the house too, I'll find something I think is gross and this is what happens:

Mom: Oh, that's still good. Keep it.
Me: Mom, it's green.
Mom: Still good.
Me: Mom, it expired 2 years ago...
Mom: Oh, that means nothing.
Me: Mom. No one is going to eat it.
Mom: Oh, you never know.

I draw the line at liquified cucumbers. UGH. *dry heaves*

So, without them here I threw away all the moldy cheese, gross cottage cheese, close to mush veggies and furry meat.

On a non-gross note I have decided to take a lot of veggies home with me. They have a garden, I was forced to tend to it (was cut up and turned green in the process) so I think some cucumbers, tomatoes and green beans are in order. I am kinda pissed the green peppers are not ready yet. they are my favorite.

Am leaving soon, I think. Also know what to get Caleb every time there is an occasion for a present. Clothes. I had to pack his bag for Dane and Lisa's since my parents won't be home till thursday and he has NOTHING. Underwear, he has plenty. Socks, too much. Shorts, meh he could use the non-gym variety, but he has NO shirts. well, he had about 4, but they are too small. I feel so bad for him.

Mom just called, told her about it. She was like, he should have about 8 shirts. Hrm... what is the nice way to tell her that is not nearly enough? This is how I grew up. As a girl, it was tough.

So imagine my shock to see Vicky's vast closet with a GAZILLION shirts.

Ugh. Okay, tomatoes are put up, going to do the dishes and THEN shower. Will leave a note for Dane to take out trash, then a note for caleb to check and see if I packed everything he needs.

(Also, it's nice to find the netflix I pay for sitting in a basket underneath a bunch of papers. I pay for my dad's netflix because for some reason, he doesnt want it on his card. Hrm. *shrugs* I may just mail it for him. I dont really mind paying for it, they did pay for my tuition. I just don't like to see it go to waste.)

Alright. Animals piss me off today.

So I get to sleep last night around midnight. Am woken by my cat (Kalvin... of Kalvin and Hobbes. Yes, A. I know it is the wrong name, B. I know it's spelled wrong. But, there it is.)  at 3 AM who is meowing so freaking loud and obnoxiously that I throw a pillow at him. No luck, he continues on. So, I go downstairs to see what is the matter and his food is still on the shelf, we forgot to take it back down when Lady left(that dog will eat anything). So, I put it on the floor and stumble back to bed.

Wake up at 7 to wake brother, then go back to bed. (Have I mentioned I am SO glad we live a block away from the school? I don't have to drive him.) Then am woken by Caleb looking for money for school. Tell him where it is go back to sleep.

Damned cat comes back up meowing again, this time pillow did the trick. THEN the damned dog that lives behind us is let out to go to the bathroom and is yapping (YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP) for the next 30 minutes.

I love animals, I do, but I swear if it happens again tomorrow, I'm going to kill that damn dog. SRSLY.

Told my mom about this and she said that BOTH the neighbors behind us own dogs, who are both very annoying. They yap like that all the time. She is angry about it too. My sister just got a new dog(Lady) and I haven't heard it bark once. Why the frak do we have to live by people who like the annoying dogs?

(and seriously, I don't think the dog got a pant in, it yapped the ENTIRE 30 minutes.)

*large sigh*

Go home tomorrow. Have no idea when I am going to leave. My brother has school until 3, but I don't necessarily need to be here when he comes home. I don't know....

Washer that was supposed to be fixed yesterday wasn't. He said the transmission could go at any point, and if we wanted to have him come back within 90 we wouldn't be charged for labor. Okay, sounds like a deal. What I don't expect is it to go 10 minutes as I start a load. SOB. That sucked. So, the clothes have detergent and fabric softner all over them, which stains.

So, I wait until Lisa comes so I can ask her to do it at her house. I forget. Here is the part where I decide to drag the kids to a laundromat. That's closed. So, come back home and watch a movie before we go to sleep. Today we went to church and then had laundromat success. Dryer worked at home, thank God. I don't think Gabe would have lasted another 40 minutes.

Am watching the Lost World. Every time I see Jeff Goldblum, I think 'I'm a Pepper'. He wore that shirt in Life Aquatic. hehe Funny movie.

*grins*

I am fully taking advantage of the fact that my brother hasn't seen The Dark Knight. I want to see it again, and in a good theater. (the one I used to work at.)

Am slightly uneasy about seeing some people that I know will be there, aka the lifer aka Josh. There's a story for ya.

My cousins decided it would be fun to get on my aol IM account(this was my senior year of HS) and tell people that I had as friends on there that I was in love with them. One being Josh, who I worked with. So, after telling him this, after explaining that I wasn't interested(by way of Ashley Burroughs... he had her ask me out for him *shakes head*), he took it badly. We had what I call the 'Supervisor Wars of the Concession Stand'. (we were both Supervisors.) We would open things up that were unnecessary just so the other would have to clean them, compete with things like cleaning and stocking. Seems childish and ridiculous now , but seriously, started with my stupid crack whores of a cousins. Both into drugs now.

And my parents keep calling me updating me on this, asking me to do that. There's a shocker.

Also, as a late heads up, I am at my parent's house with nothing to do but watch movies like Jurassic Park(playing now). Be aware that I will post like mad!

Ugh. Sears repairman was supposed to call yesterday to check if he could come today, but didn't. Well, actually, if you look at the caller ID, they waited until about 7:15 when we were out to dinner to call. He was supposed to then call my phone, but didn't. So last night I was a bit concerned that he wouldn't come today, that my parents would have to wait weeks until they could get it fixed. I was going to wake up and call the 800 number, but then he called at 9 saying he was 15 minutes away. Took him downstairs when he got here, noticed that the area was a pit. Thanks mom and dad for not preparing for the man. They are in the  basement, next to the wood burning stove and cobwebs. On top of the dryer is all our supplies, I had to clean that off. Poor guy. Who knows, maybe he is used to odd places.

Now he wants payment, and I have no idea what I am supposed to do. There is an EXPIRED card in the drawer.

Called them, expired credit card in drawer will apparently work anyway.

Am so behind on Caliga. I think I have 23 things to read. Maybe I will get to that this weekend, that was the plan, but who knows if I will.

I made Caleb do the dishes. *evil grin* His mess, he cleans it up.

I think I need to see a doctor about my allergies. They have been bugging me for the last couple weeks, and not in the way they used to. Usually, my eyes itch a little, then slowly progress into something (get ready for the ewww) growing in it, and only if I let it go too far, like without a pill. I've now been taking pills everyday, and they take the edge off, but not really. I have to put a cold compress on them to get it to stop. Well, thank God for insurance, right? I need mega-allergy pills.

So, I came to Davenport and sat around staring for an hour or so, then my sister came over with her kids and their new puppy. Cute dog, named Lady Bree. I thought it was Sadie, but I was wrong. I like Lady better, as in Penny Lane (to me, they don't get the reference). We went to dinner then to rent movies, then watched Untraceable (while yelling at the kids to get back downstairs to their own movie, we don't want them to have nightmares). They *just* left. No time to write the rest of the Demelza scene I thought I could finish up tonight. Will write it tomorrow. *rolls eyes*.

I am exhausted. Am really excited for parents memory foam deluxe mattress. Will probably wake up tomorrow, clean up a bit (as my 11 year old brother is a slob, he is only here in the afternoons alone until my brother picks him up, and SUCH a mess.) then I might do some scening. The plan with my brother is to stay in pajamas and watch movies all day.

Demelza scene will be in top priority. I hate to post a placeholder. :(

How weird it is to scene a semi-smut scene while you ENTIRE family is calling you? First my sister and brother, my niece and nephew and younger brother. Then, 20 minutes later, Vicky. Then a short while after that, my parents.

It's like they knowl,

me: now my mom has called me. weird night for calls
Kate: hehe  You're just popular.
me: I NEVER get calls. Now all of a sudden everyone is calling me. during a semi smut scene my entire family is on the phone *headdesk*
Kate: They know.
me: There is no other explanation. mind readers. *glances around*
Kate: hehehe
Kate: Little Susie will come around and knock heads.  "I'm trying to get a little action over here.  Do you mind?"

*shakes head*

In other news, have decided to watch some SPN. I miss those boys.

Am leaving tomorrow after work to spend the weekend with my younger brother since my family is up in Washington DC moving my other brother into his dorm. Will be watching my nephew Sunday, and Lisa will bring the new puppy over. I swear, they get a new animal every time I see them. 3 cats and a dog.

It is freezing in here. Turned the air up(as in degrees) a little, and have the fireplace on. :D The kitty is enjoying herself immensely.

OMG, I have been watching Season 5 Alias for months now(at work mostly, when I have a booth shift--so sad that it's taking me this long, but it doesn't really get good until halfway through) and WILL IS BACK! Oh, I love me some Will.

*Bad French accent*: Look at me, I couldn't buy a coach ticket if I tried.

I love when he has aliases. He is SO bad at it, it is hilarious.

I am squeeing so hard right now! WILL!

ugh
So bored. Was on a countdown until Dan came home so I could watch Six Feet Under, then Vicky said they were going out to eat.  *sigh* Going to have to wait longer. This is what happens when you try to get someone to watch a show. Also set out stuff to defrost for dinner. Looks like that was a mistake.

My brother came to spend the night last night and get the minifridge for college. He showed up about 5 hours later than I thought he was going to, but whatev. I made his move up his hair cut appt. so he could get here earlier, then we made dinner. Watched Monster Squad, Alias, and then played Alias. Moved the fridge out (he had to move his car out into the drive to get the fridge in, then he forgot to move the car back, so when I got out there at 7 this morning, I had to go move it back.) Let him take a bunch of my music so that he could get them on his new computer(freaking HUGE laptop for architecture, he also lost his Ipod /was stolen-he doesn't know) He moves up to Washington DC next week. Am a bit worried for him. :(

This morning he left a note saying that he washed some dishes and thanks for letting him stay. Cute kid. Who else does that? I told him to leave the dishes. Vicky says she would hit that. *shakes head* I told him that too, hehe.

Ugh, am having an allergic reaction to something, I think that is why I am so agitated. I can just tell that my eye is red and puffy. Oh shit, this sucks.

Tomorrow I have to work at 7-2pm, then I have to go back at 8:20-3am. Am NOT looking forward to that.
