Okay. I am getting REALLY frakking pissed off here. I have spent over an hour searching for Six Feet Under screencaps, from the episode "Rainbow of Her Reasons." Can't find it ANYWHERE. I have 1 picture of the part I need, but I want more so that it isn't so boring.

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I have searched countless places, googled a gazillion different ways, and even tried my powerdvd application to do it myself. Can't probably because the program I have is too old, or I just don't know how.

So frustrating. Seriously.

Okay, update? I have eaten a granola bar and 2 slices of pineapples today. Strangely I am not hungry. Fucked up the upside down cake, book said to flip after 5 minutes, but as Tommie informed me (in a rather 'I'm sooooo smarter than you' way), you are supposed to  wait  30. Hrm. Fucking cookbooks. Hate them. So, my brother gets a deformed cake. ::sigh:: I hate when things like that happen. So, made chocolate chip cookies, will see if those are to his liking (and my other brother)

Just remembered what I was going to do... look up what to visit in DC. Have been there twice before, so it's a little harder to see what we missed. Also was going to pack. Heh. How did I forget this stuff? No frakking clue.

Keep remembering various bills that I have. Sucks, because I need to save money. ::sigh:: I get paid halfway through the trip, I just don't know what I need for the first half. I only get paid maybe 370 every two weeks. Not so much when you add all my bills. I am going to try to pick up extra shifts. ::nods::

Did so many reports today at work. I figured Will would have so much to do anyway, that I would get them all done so he wouldn't have to worry. People have been slacking. Usually there are only 1 or 2, there were like 8 there. Yikes. Took almost the whole day. Will had to drop that one class, btw. I can't remember if I said this, but he came back to his class that didn't really have the understanding teacher, and asked when he could make up the test. The teacher made him take it right then. Needless to say, Will failed the test. He didn't really need it, it was an elective, but still. Ridiculous.

To Do:

2 presentations
3 papers
1 final

::Sigh:: Seriously? Getting pretty annoyed at my computer. Internet is being really weird. And I was about to throw this bitch out the window. Thank GODS it saved my post. I was so angry. And now I don't know what to pack. DOn't know what clothes to bring. Yeah. Fighting the urge to start weeping. I need to sleep.

Taken from [info]dream_mancer :

You Are Punk Music

You've thought long and hard about what mainstream society has to offer...

And you've pretty much decided that most normal things aren't for you.

You're creative, expressive, and likely to do things yourself.

You are a rebel and a fighter. You'll defend your point of view to anyone.

Ugh. Tired. Had a few more ideas for the party scene, but, meh. It can go without. BEAUTIFUL outside. ::nods:: I remembered to call my brother today for his birthday. He is 11, and I asked what cake to bring him for his birthday. Kid was like, "Erm... well, everyone likes chocolate."
Me: No. This is not about everyone else. This is about you. What do YOU like?
Caleb: Erm... How about a mixture of white and chocolate?
me: *sighs* (caleb doesn't like chocolate)

My mother then gets on the phone.
Mom: What did he decide?
me: Marble.
mom: He doesn't like chocolate.
Me: yeah...
Mom: How about Pineapple upside down cake? Caleb really likes that.
me: Erm... ok. (No idea how to make that, but it should be fun)  HEE! The Andrew icon is totally appropriate for this post!

And another car started on fire today at Ramp 2, the same ramp that had the other car fire. Coincidence? You decide.

So... my feet hurt from standing in the kitchen all day... ugh.

But my pies look pretty, and my mom loves the fudge and peanut brittle. SUCCESS!!!

So... my aunt(not the aura one- the one that met and kissed ER George Clooney(::jealous::)... I don't think I've talked about this before... I will at the bottom. ::points downward.) at the party yesterday pissed me off.

She started bitching that it was annoying that she had to press 1 for english when calling the bank.
1. Just HOW inconvenient is this REALLY?
2. How else can Spanish speaking people hear it in their language?

So then after I asked those 2 questions, she says something stupid and completely flimsy as a argument for it and then says, "And another thing, if people are going to live in the US, they need to learn our language. It should be mandatory."
To this, I shut up. This is a sore subject for me, and I dislike people that have this view. But,
1. What is the whole point of America? Freedom, Free choice, etc. OF COURSE it makes soooo much sense to force people to learn one language.
2.(and I said this) It has been found that it is significantly harder to learn a new language past 15(heads up all you parents out there... give more to your child!!! Enroll them in a language course! They will appreciate it later!)  To which she replied, "No it's not." and my aura-aunt's husband agreed. I was like, ::rolls eyes::

Of course it isnt true, the studies are faked.

And then she said that English is the Universal language anyway. ::snort::
I just stopped talking altogether.
But my aura-aunt's husband butted in with a questioning glance and she was like "... well, in business anyway"

Stupid. See this, and the fact that they NEED to know about my love-life is why I don't like to go.

But my Uncle Terry made up with it. I am going to fix that story I told yesterday, I'm not sure that anyone understood that... (it was like... 25 years ago that this occured btw)
My Uncle Terry (married into the family) is talking about this one time he decided to finish off a gin and tonic bottle(a lot of it). As the story progresses it gets more and more insane.
"So one day I decided to finish this bottle of gin and tonic. ::shrugs:: So I was babysitting the kids (me: ::eyebrow::) and I wanna say... it was 3pm. (me: ::eyebrow::) so I'm giving them piggy back rides for like 2 hours and the room is SPINNING like, SPINNING. Anyway, those were the best 2 hours for the kids. I was feeling pretty darn good about myself, cause they were enjoying it so, that when Lois got home and tore me a new one, I was shocked! I thought I did pretty good! and I was feeling a bit under the weather too... the kids still say to this day that those were the best piggy back rides they ever got. ::satisfied grin::

So now me and my parents joke about this. "Want a drink? It must be 3pm somewhere." or "Piggy back ride anyone, I need a drink."

George Clooney- Aunt -story: So she is a consultant on tv shows and movies for how to use medical equipment. So, she is watching as GC and the rest of the ER cast are all bloody and on set filming a scene. When they are finished, he asked(while covered in fakeblood), "who wants a hug? Anyone?"
My aunt raised her hand, and was the only one(:: is shocked::) he came over, hugged her, and planted one right on her lips. ::sigh:: were that me....

I'm still angry at her blatant close-mindedness, don't be fooled...

So  .... a mistake was made.
I asked my mom what she thought I should cook for a pie. What she said was peanut brittle and fudge.

and then peach and apple and cherry pie... YAY!!!!!!

Busy, busy, busy day.

I'm off to shop for groceries.

And just a reminder for myself: I need to talk about my aunt and her crazy crazy ideas.
