I went to Vicky's, did laundry, sprayed air freshner everywhere because it smelled like cat (eww, I dislike that apple shit), watched The Boleyn Girl--haven't decided if I liked it or not. Team Mary, here. Then kinda scrubbed floor which had spots. I figured, Vicky did it already, and if it didn't come off for her, then it sure as shit wasn't coming off for me, even if I applied pressure. Took everything out of apartment, including huge box of cleaning supplies (plus trashbags! Yay, am not going to the store to buy them, V) and put them on my trunk to open the door. Well, when I took it off my trunk it scraped the shit out of it. *annoyed sigh*
Nothing that has been done to that car has been done by me. The bumper has scrapes on it from another car, the hood is banged up because I lived on South Johnson Street (which, if you knew SoJo, means that there are house parties galore and people like to trash things). I was stupid and didn't report it. So, I drive a nice car, but ugly one due to it's beatings.
Which brings me to my next annoyance. Tuesday I am eating at Culvers with V and Dan before we go pack and I get a phone call. This woman asks if I remember signing up for the car in the mall. I'm going HOLY SHIT I won a CAR! Then she starts this speech on a free vacation to Milwakee or some shit and doesn't that sound nice. So I play along, waiting for the punch line. She finally gets to it after 5 minutes. Are you over 25? No. Oh.... do you know anyone that might be interested? No. Oh. Well, I'll put you back in for the car, then. Thanks. *hangs up* Stupid bint. I had dreams for a few seconds of selling both cars and getting a prius.
Also forgot to mail things. *grumble* Will do it tomorrow on the clock.
Am getting so damned bored it isn't funny. Don't like living alone, I can tell this. I realize that though I do not talk to roommate very much, he was nice to have around for the "hellos" and "goodbyes". To know that he were there in case I *wanted* to talk was nice. Also read a thing in Marie Claire (thank God that subscription is almost over. Hate that magazine) today at work that was written by Kelly from the Office that was about living alone. She said that she used to keep a bottle of water near her bed at night, because if you drank more water, you would lose weight. So, she went to sleep and woke up to a gun shot and pissed herself.
Except it wasn't a gunshot. It was the plastic in the water bottle popping back out. LOL Living alone makes you that afraid.
Was also an article with Rainn Wilson in it and another with Maggie Gyllenhaal. This month wasn't so bad, I guess. I am a big fan of MG. She rocks.
Listened to old music today, The Go Find, the Killers, Red Hot Chili Peppers. Then I finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. Really helps pass the time. The Go Find, oh it's incredible. Seriously. If anyone's interested, comment and I'll see about getting it to you. Everyone that I know that listens to it thinks that Ice Cold Ice is an awesome song, and RANDOM a good one to have sex to. I could see it. Love it.
